Terms & Conditions

These Terms govern use of Avelrow Readers, including reader accounts, direct book purchases, membership access, reading features and related Avelrow services. Authors using Avelrow Authors are also subject to the separate Avelrow Authors Terms & Conditions and their signed Publishing Agreement.

1. Reader accounts

You are responsible for keeping your account information accurate and your login secure. Do not sell, commercially share, impersonate another person through, or use an account for fraudulent activity.

2. Personal reading licence

Avelrow books and reader features are provided for personal reading use. Buying a book or receiving membership access does not transfer copyright ownership. You may not scrape, reproduce, redistribute, resell, publicly post, train unauthorized datasets on, or commercially exploit protected Avelrow content unless you have separate permission from the rights holder.

3. Direct book purchases

Where direct purchase is available, a completed eligible purchase gives the purchasing account the entitlement described at checkout. A purchased digital edition is intended to remain available to that account subject to the purchase terms, applicable law, fraud prevention, rights restrictions and technical availability. Prices and taxes are shown before payment where required.

4. Readers+ membership

Readers+ gives access to eligible membership content while the membership entitlement is active. Membership does not create permanent ownership of membership-only books. Website memberships renew according to the billing period selected until cancelled. Current pricing, renewal information and cancellation controls are shown before purchase or through the billing portal where available.

5. Samples and free access

Some books, chapters or samples may be offered without charge. Free availability can change unless Avelrow expressly grants a permanent purchase-style entitlement. Promotional access does not transfer copyright or distribution rights.

6. Payments, refunds and reversals

Payments are processed by the payment provider shown at checkout. Refund rights depend on applicable law, the type of purchase and the circumstances of the transaction. Fraudulent, reversed or charged-back transactions may result in the related entitlement being removed or restricted where legally permitted.

7. Reviews, notes and reader activity

Reader features must not be used for harassment, spam, fraud, manipulation of ratings or qualified-read systems, unlawful content, automated scraping, or attempts to interfere with other users or the service.

8. Service and catalogue changes

Avelrow may update features, interfaces, supported devices, technical systems and catalogue availability. Titles may be corrected, replaced, temporarily unavailable or removed where required by rights, legal, quality, security or distribution issues. Avelrow will not knowingly use a catalogue change to remove mandatory consumer rights that cannot legally be waived.

9. Security and abuse

Avelrow may suspend or restrict access for fraud, unauthorized redistribution, security attacks, payment abuse, impersonation, unlawful activity or a material violation of these Terms. Where practical and appropriate, account-specific issues can be reviewed through Support.

10. Intellectual property

The Avelrow name, service design, site software and other Avelrow-owned materials are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. Books, covers and author materials remain owned by their respective rights holders unless expressly stated otherwise.

11. Third-party services

Avelrow may use third-party payment, authentication, printing, hosting, distribution or analytics providers. Those providers may have their own terms and privacy rules for services they directly provide.

12. No guarantee of uninterrupted service

Avelrow works to keep the service available, but maintenance, provider outages, security work and technical failures can cause interruptions. Nothing in these Terms excludes obligations or remedies that applicable law does not allow Avelrow to exclude.

13. Mandatory consumer rights

Nothing in these Terms limits consumer, privacy or other statutory rights that cannot legally be waived in your jurisdiction. If one provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply to the extent permitted by law.

14. Changes to these Terms

Avelrow may update these Terms as the service changes. Material changes will apply prospectively from the stated effective date. Separate signed author agreements are not amended merely because the public Reader Terms change.
